This is a full strength, mellow tobacco comprising a blend of dark fired Tanzanian leaf. It starts as hand stripped leaf and goes through a steaming process prior to being pressed. The cake is wrapped in a select leaf and packed by hand into a square. This cake is pressed for a minimum of two hours and then baked for two to three hours. As it’s baked it takes on a rich, dark color. It is then cut and tonquin flavoring is added, making it ready for rubbing into your pipe.
